Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart were outstanding USAC Champions.Both won the NASCAR NEXTEL Championship multiple times. Kenny Schrader, J.J Yealey, Jason Leffler, Ryan Newman, Tracy Hines and Bobby East also won USAC Championships and now race NASCAR. Their USAC history and photographs are included in the USAC "Fifty Years Of Speed And Glory", 608 page book.

Jeff Gordon won his first USAC Midget race at IRP in May. The race was live on ESPN. -JM
